1986 Ozark is purchased by TWA after 36 years of
operations that started with DC-3s |
Ozark started in 1950 with four
DC3 aircraft operating between St. Louis, Missouri USA (Park Airport) and
Chicago, Illinois with enroute stops at Springfield, Decatur and Champaign
Illinois. In the 1986 routes had expanded with limited direct
flights from STL west to California and south east
to Florida and served free
Coffee Royal. Often called "Krazo" by passengers, Ozark,
however never experienced a fatal accident. |
