Why I gave up on
 Google Adds

Typical month - around  60,000 adds presented  giving an income around $1.31c per month.

Lots of bandwidth wasted by visitors to present things that were rarely related to Flight Sim. Overall it adds little value to my patrons so it is wise to simply remove the "advertising"  and reduce the bandwidth load to  speed up the web pages.

Warwick Carter's FS2004 Creation

These textures are available for FREE
however they are not FREEWARE
They are available for individual use and not for redistribution via other media or sites without consent

See Selectware Declarations on this site.

Mirage III - Aircraft created by Warwick Carter for FS2004.   Warwick has created this girl from scratch up within FSDS2 and it is an excellent aircraft for the FS2004 environment.   This girl had some great potential for some very high detail texture work as the aircraft model has facilities for gear bays, airbrake bays, all animated surfaces have external and internal texture mappings.   The aircraft comes with a Virtual Cockpit, a 2D cockpit and some very clever effects that will increase the enjoyment of this aircraft in FS2004.

Naturally with such a great aircraft with excellent texture potential I have created a few aircraft texture tinkers for this great historical girl with a very heavy lean toward the RAAF liveries that this girl was graced with.

PLEASE NOTE
- the Textures are Dynamically changing during the build stage and artwork will definitely change for each aircraft as recommendations and different aspects of the aircraft are built and modified.  Especially during the first release phase of the Project.

So please remember to visit occasionally to see if there are any updates.

Warwick's Mirage III comes with three configurations:
Clean underside
Subsonic (large) tanks
Supersonic (small) tanks, Matra and Sidewinders

BLANKS for creating your own liveries.

Mirage III Textures

NOTES:
All aircraft come with specific textures for tanks which match their livery.
All Pilots have helmet markings to match the aircraft that they are flying in.
Some Pilots have cloth badges and insignia on their flying suites.
There are three types of Virtual Cockpit:
Normal - in most Aircraft
Dirty - in the A3-77 Aircraft
Reflective - in the A3-2 Number 2 Aircraft (this is worth the fun visually)
Additional Features:
All main doors open after engine shutdown and hydraulic pressure is zero.
Engine exhaust interior area fully texture mapped for day and night effects.
Fully textured interiors of wheel bays, speed brakes and cockpit.

Textures and images on this page.
Images for aircraft do not represent the final textures for each aircraft - many have been considerably updated and refined - too many aircraft to keep on the ball with the latest texture changes but the below pictures will provide sufficient information for you to choose if you want to download it or not.
Suffice to say each one is vastly better than the picture implies.

RAAF Matra Missiles
The missile textures below are designed specifically and graphically to be used with the  Green Camouflaged liveries as the tank texture component of the textures is for the Camouflaged livery.
However, they will work with any of the liveries as long as you don't mind having Camouflaged tanks and with the Mirages in Australia they were often mixed and matched on various aircraft.

Simply download and unzip into the texture directory that you desire -replaces the DropTank.bmp image.

These textures are not recommended for the standard Mirage3 aircraft
NOTE:  This is a fun aircraft created by Warwick Carter with Textures created by Garry J. Smith.  This aircraft is a totally imaginary model and sets of liveries done to satisfy some user requests and a curiosity in the capabilities to develop Day-Glow effects for a livery and the Police style of livery was perfectly suitable for the task.
This is a new aircraft in total however it does have alias for the Panel and Sounds to the Mirage III aircraft. You will have to check those locations to ensure that you have appropriate sound and panels aliased to this new model.

79 Sqn Butterworth Malaysia 03/86-04/88

In addition there were No 2 OCU based at Williamtown NSW and ARDU based at Laverton Vic then Edinburgh SA

76 Sqn was disbanded in 1973 to allow more aircraft to be shared amongst the other operating units. 75 Sqn returned to Darwin in 1983 to provide a fighter defence for the top end whilst the Hornet Sqns became operational, it absorbed some of the 3 Sqn Mirages , ending up with 21 IIIOs and 4 IIIDs . 79 Sqn had been reformed at Butterworth to absorb the remnants of 3 Sqn’s aircraft and to provide a presence in the area when 3 Sqn returned to Australia to re equip with Hornets in 1986, 77 Sqn still at Williamtown eventually got all the rest of the aircraft including 2OCU’s, in fact taking over that unit’s role of pilot conversion whilst 2OCU changed to Hornets. The eventual strength of 77 Sqn was some 40 Mirages ( plus 16 Macchis )
