Why I gave up on
 Google Adds

Typical month - around  60,000 adds presented  giving an income around $1.31c per month.

Lots of bandwidth wasted by visitors to present things that were rarely related to Flight Sim. Overall it adds little value to my patrons so it is wise to simply remove the "advertising"  and reduce the bandwidth load to  speed up the web pages.

As you are aware I take requests for aircraft liveries for those who wish to have their own personal liveries or marking placed on the many aircraft that are available.

I prefer to specialise in GMAX or FSDS2 developed aircraft as they support reflective effects however, I also delve into just about any livery that a user request or has a preference for.

This Page is for you to submit a request for me to create a texture for your flying pleasure.

Guidelines:

(1) Aircraft Type - This option is for you to enter the particular aircraft type that you want me to paint a texture set for - if it is a texture set for an aircraft that I have already done then the process will be a little faster than for an aircraft that I have not painted before.  Note:  I seek permission from the aircraft developers in all cases before I release a texture for public use.

(2) Livery/Airline - This option is for you to specify the livery style modelled on a particular airline or aircraft.  If the request is for an independent livery or a Virtual Airline then input "Personal" and specify details in the Description Area.

(3) Virtual Airlines - Because of the demanding requirements for Virtual Airline, with many liveries, unique graphic design work and the requirements to meet various and multiple expectations I charge a fee for my time and effort to create liveries for them.  Some of this fee is expended on the development and design for the liveries required for a unique logo and look for the Virtual Airline.

(4) Description - this is the area where you can describe your requirements and expectation for the texture.

(5) Priority - I paint aircraft textures in the following order of priority:

(1) Textures that are commissioned and paid for - highest priority and normally done within 2 days.

(2) New Aircraft - experimentation and tinkering - any new aircraft which are GMAX or FSDS2 and are interesting to paint.

(3)
Textures that are for  personal reasons and have significant meaning - such as tributes. to Dad, Mum, Wife, Girlfriend, friend associates etc.

(4)
Interesting Textures which will stretch or challenge my artistic interest.

(5)
Textures that are just a personal request for the Request List.

The current number of aircraft textures in my request list are well over 200 and I am working through them but they are often superseded by priorities 1 through 4.

If you feel that the aircraft is a new one (2), or a personal tribute (3), or an interesting livery to paint (4) or just a general request (5) then please select the appropriate priority and I will review and advise.

If you wish to have Priority (1) then my fees are a nominal $15 US per hour for a texture.  This is a very cheep nominal fee which is to pay for my time and effort to focus on your needs and give you the priority turnaround of 2 days.  It is hard to gauge how long it  takes to do a livery - but I will advise you in advance of the expected time after receiving your request and you can then make a decision to accept or cancel.

Secure Online Payments can be
processed via Clicking the  PayPal  button above.

NOTE: Whenever I am charging a fee for service I always advise the aircraft creator of my intentions and reasoning for such a fee.  If the creator of the aircraft wishes to deny me that option then the texture will not be done..

(6) Texture type
Reflective = DXT3
image with alpha channel to create reflective effects Non-Reflective = BMP image in 256 colours
Both means the delivery of both the DXT3 and BMP image - not a major effort and becoming a preferred method of receiving aircraft textures by many..

Please Note:  I receive many requests each day, thank you.  Because of this I am unable to answer all of them but please rest assured that each and every one of them is recorded and placed in their Priority Category and sorted by Date.  Whenever I am starting a new project I review this list, but the Priorities 2 through to 5 now contain several hundred requests.
